"Free Peering Workshop for customers and prospects (2009-07-03)"

Especially for new participants on the Exchange and parties which are new to peering, it is essential to understand the basics of Peering. Understanding peering's strategic importance, and gaining key operational knowledge in order to get the maximum benefit out of the Exchange is critical to each participant's success.

DE-CIX invites representatives of all customers and prospects to a free half day Peering workshop at its Competence Center in the Frankfurt docklands.
The workshop that is scheduled to take place on August 25th will start at 13:30 and will end approx 18:00. You can expect Presentations and discussions on the following topics:

- The History of Peering
- Peering Toolbox incl. Peering DB, RIS and other
- DE-CIX route server platform
- An introduction to the DE-CIX departments
- Member services of the eco association

After the event all participants are invited to attend the DE-CIX summer break party (please find more details below).
